How to Complete Your Membership

  • Step 1: Choose your membership.
    Let’s get you started with the right membership.
  • ② Step 2: Fill out your application.
    Complete your application on the next page. You can save and edit it before submitting.
  • ③ Step 3: Verify your email & pay.
    Verification emails will contain your Square invoice. Note: Waived fee memberships do not require payment but still need email verification.

  • ④ Step 4: Membership approval & activation.
    Your membership is approved and becomes active once your application is submitted, your email is verified, and payment (if required) is received. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your membership is live.

No matter where you are on your doula journey, the Doula Services Association of BC is here for you. We’re not separate from this work; we’re part of it. And we’re committed to making sure doulas in BC are valued, visible, and supported for the long haul.

We welcome doulas of all gender identities and expressions. Our community includes birth, postpartum, abortion, and loss doulas. However you support families, you belong here.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the unceded, ancestral territories of many Indigenous Peoples across what is now called British Columbia. We honour the birthing knowledge, traditions, and practices of these Indigenous communities, and we recognize the harms that colonial systems, including healthcare, have caused and continue to cause. As birthworkers, we are committed to reconciliation, to centering Indigenous voices and leadership, and to building a birth landscape that is equitable, inclusive, and just for all.
