(COMMUNITY EVENT) Infant-related harm thoughts: Why they matter and how to manage them

October 30 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

From Partnership for Women’s Health Research Canada:

One in five women and birthing people experience mental health challenges during the perinatal period. Screening for depression post-partum has long been standard of care, but we now know that anxiety is even more common.

Join us to learn about groundbreaking research on perinatal anxiety and infant-related harm thoughts, featuring Dr. Nichole Fairbrother, Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and the Women’s Health Research Institute winner of the PWHR 2025 Mid-Career Excellence in Women’s Health Research Award, and Samantha Buchsdrueker, Indigeneous Maternal Health Advocate.

Researchers, research funders, community members, healthcare providers and administrators, trainees, and policymakers are all invited to join the conversation.
